A power triac with a radiator BS3-40 is designed to work together with power regulators. It is used in cases of frequent switching of the load or with phase-pulse control of power on heaters and other consumers. Power triac BS3-40 is mounted on a DIN rail.
In comparison with electromagnetic contact devices, the device has an infinite switching resource. On speed 20-30 microseconds, off speed 10 milliseconds.
