Contact sensor DK-101 (magnetic contact sensor, reed switch)
Principle: work with the help of a magnet and a reed switch. When the magnet approaches, the contacts close.
Application: security alarms (opening doors/windows).
Pros: inexpensive, easy to install.
Cons: may trigger false alarms due to strong vibrations.
For installation on site, contact sensors have a standard M8 thread.
Both horizontal and vertical installation of the DK-101 contact sensor is possible.

Examples of use
-
Security: alarm when opening a window.
-
Industry: control of the door position on the machine.
-
Everyday life: control of closing of the lid of the washing machine.
-
Robotics: detection of touch or obstacle.
🔧 Connection
Typically, contact sensors have 2 outputs and are connected to a microcontroller (such as Arduino) or a PLC input. They often operate in the mode “normally open” (NO) or “normally closed” (NC).
