Temperature regulator for edge banding machine RD3-02

The temperature regulator of the edge banding machine RD3-02 is designed to receive and convert signals coming from thermoelectric (TE) converters into temperature values and display them on built-in digital indicators, as well as regulate the temperature of an object according to a two-position law. 

RD3-02 allows you to perform the following functions:

• measurement of the parameters of various objects using standard sensors (resistance thermocouples (temperature sensors) ТСМ (50М, 100М) and ТСП (50П, 100П, Pt100), thermocouples (ТХК, ТХА, ТЖК, etc.), sensors with a unified output current signal and voltage) across three channels;
• display on the built-in LED digital indicators of the current, set parameter values and the number of the corresponding channel;
• the ability to change the set value (setpoint);
• data exchange with a personal computer via RS-485 interface;
• signal generation "Error";
• program change of parameters of the transformation characteristics.

Manufacturing modifications:

• panel version (model with three indicators);
• power supply from an alternating voltage network with a nominal value of 140..220V and from a direct voltage source with a nominal value of 12..24V;
• types of input signals TS, PT, AN and AT;
• RS-485 interface (ModBus RTU);
• types of output signals: P, OK, OS.

Description of the operation of the temperature regulator of the edge banding machine RD3-02

The device allows you to set:

"St 1» – set temperature on the 1st channel (from -50 to 600);

"St 2» – set temperature on the 2nd channel (from -50 to 600);

"St 3» – set operating permission temperature (from -50 to 600).

Job:

1) Channels 1 and 2 control heaters;

2) Channel 3 works as a signaling channel.

When the device is turned on, output No. 3 is turned off;

if the temperature is less than the set one, then “oFF» – the analog output is at a minimum, and output No. 3 is in a state depending on the specified operating logic (LoGI): 1—on, 2—off;

if the temperature is higher than the set one, then indicator B displays the value of the feed rate in the specified units - the analog output is active, and output No. 3 is in a state depending on the specified operating logic (LoGI): 1 – off, 2 – on. Using the buttons located on the front panel of the device, you can adjust the feed speed.

Front Panel Start/Stop Control:

if in the parameter "o_PS» the value is set to 01, then you can turn on/off output No. 3 only by briefly pressing the button (“Cycle”), while in the off state the feed rate value on indicator B flashes;

Waiting mode:

when the external “control” contact is closed, output No. 3 turns off, indicator B displays “ oFF» – analog output is at a minimum, the 1st and 2nd channels switch to regulation according to the set temperature of the 3rd channel.
