Description
The eight-channel PID controller RP8 with discrete outputs regulates the input physical quantity according to the proportional-integral-differential (PID) law in eight channels. RP8 works in tandem with an output expansion unit BR8 (sensors are connected to the RP8 device and it transmits control signals of output devices to BR8 via RS-485).
PID controllers with discrete control are used to accurately control the input value using contactless actuators (triacs, thyristors, solid-state relays).
RP8 allows you to perform the following functions
- measurement of parameters of various objects using standard sensors (resistance thermocouples (temperature sensors) ТСМ (50М, 100М) and ТСП (50П, 100П, Pt100), thermocouples (ТХК, ТХА, ТЖК, etc.), sensors with a unified output current signal and voltage) on eight channels;
- display on the built-in LED digital indicators of the current and specified parameter values;
- regulation of a physical quantity according to a proportional-integral-differential (PID) law on eight channels;
- light indication of the device operating mode;
- the ability to change the set value (setpoint) for the PID controller;
- data exchange with a personal computer via RS-485 interface;
- signal generation "Error";
- program change of parameters of the transformation characteristics.

- power supply from the 220V alternating voltage network and from the 12..24V constant voltage source;
-types of input signals TC, PT, AN and AT;
-types of output devices P, OK, OS;
- two RS-485 interfaces (for controlling the BR8 and for exchanging data with a personal computer).
