Protective sleeves (mounting, thermometric, immersion sleeve) GZ are designed for mounting resistance thermometers, thermocouples, glass thermometers, bimetallic sensors, manometers.

Protective sleeves (mounting, thermometric, thermowell) GZ-001, GZ-002, GZ-003, GZ-004, GZ-101, GZ-102, GZ-103, GZ-104 (hereinafter referred to as protective sleeves GZ) are intended for installation of resistance thermometers, thermoelectric converters (thermocouples), glass thermometers, bimetallic sensors, manometers. Protective sleeves GZ protect mounted devices from mechanical and chemical effects of the working environment and increased dynamic loads.

Installation of temperature sensors using protective sleeves GZ can significantly extend the service life of these sensors. Thermometric sleeves GZ can be installed in pressure vessels, steam boilers, pipelines, tanks and other objects. The sleeves are mounted using threaded (GZ-001, GZ-002, GZ-003, GZ-004) or welded connections (GZ-101, GZ-102, GZ-103, GZ-104).

To reduce the thermal inertia, the sleeves can be manufactured with a transition to a smaller diameter in the installation zone of the working area of the temperature sensor or other device mounted in the sleeve.

Thermometric sleeves are manufactured with mounting threads: metric in accordance with GOST 24705, cylindrical pipe in accordance with GOST 6357 and conical inch in accordance with GOST 6111. The mounting thread can be made at the request of the Customer according to other standards.

Protective sleeves GZ can be used in conjunction with temperature sensors models 002, 003 and 101.

Protective sleeves GZ are made of steel 12X18H10T in accordance with GOST 5632. At the request of the Customer, it is possible to manufacture thermometric sleeves from other steels.

AISI 321 12Х18Н10Т 08Х18Н10Т Heat-resistant, corrosion- and heat-resistant steel of the austenitic class. Possesses high strength and durability. It is used at temperatures up to 600 ° С, and in highly aggressive environments up to 350 ° С.
AISI 304 08Х18Н10 Heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant steel of the austenitic class. It is used at temperatures up to 400 ° C in mediums of medium activity.
AISI 316L 03Х17Н14М3 Corrosion-resistant austenitic steel. It is used at temperatures up to 450 ° C in most aggressive environments.
AISI 316Ti 10Х17Н13М2Т Corrosion-resistant austenitic steel. It is used at temperatures up to 600 ° C in highly aggressive environments.
AISI 430 12X17 Heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant ferritic grade steel. It is used at temperatures up to 400 ° C in slightly aggressive environments.
12X1MF Heat-resistant, resistant to prolonged exposure to high temperatures, pearlite steel. It is used at temperatures up to 600 ° C.

Assembly sleeves GZ must be operated at flow rates and pressures not exceeding the values indicated in the tables for specific modifications of sleeves. The maximum flow rate and nominal pressure of the acting medium are determined based on the condition of ensuring the static strength of the sleeve.

Thermometric sleeves ГЗ of all modifications are hermetically sealed. They are subjected to acceptance tests with test pressure Ppr and must be operated at operating pressure Pp in accordance with GOST 3634-79.
