The DVTts-304-LoRa wireless temperature and humidity sensor is designed to measure air humidity and temperature. DVTts-304-LoRa sensors transmit information via the LoRa protocol to wireless LoRa interface converter.
The area of application of air humidity_sensors is very wide and includes:
- Maintaining a microclimate within specified limits in a production equipped with moisture-sensitive electronic devices;
- Control over the indicators of humidity in office premises, in everyday life;
- In the field of housing and communal services - in boiler rooms and at water treatment plants, they prevent the formation of condensate;
- Periodic control helps to prevent the appearance of mold, mildew on the walls of the building or in the warehouse;
- Control of technological processes;
- Monitoring of environmental parameters, etc.
Modulation method LoRa (Long Range) provides a significantly greater communication range than other competitive methods.
Also resistance to external interference and noise, which allows this method to be used in various industries.
Humidity and temperature sensors DVTts-304-LoRa do not allow moisture condensation.
measuring element for humidity measurement sensors DVTts-304-LoRa
HIH4xxx measuring elements (manufactured by Honeywell International, Inc., USA) or SHTxxx (Sensirion, Switzerland).
Layered construction sensing element HIH4xxx provides excellent resistance to most application hazards such as wet, dust, dirt, oils and common environmental chemicals. The main characteristics of sensors based on elements of the HIH4xxx series:
- Molded body made of thermosetting plastic;
- Almost linear output voltage versus relative humidity;
- Interchangeable with laser fit;
- Low power design;
- Increased accuracy;
- Fast response time;
- Stable performance with low drift;
- Chemical resistance.
Humidity and temperature sensors DVTts-304-LoRa based on elements of the SHTxxx series have the following distinctive characteristics:
- High reliability and long-term stability;
- Industry-proven technology with over 10 years of experience;
- Designed for mass production;
- Optimized for the lowest cost;
- Low signal noise level.
The transmitter operates stably within the recommended measuring range for humidity and temperature. Prolonged exposure to conditions outside the normal range, especially humidity> 80%, may temporarily increase measurement uncertainty. Once returned to normal range, it will slowly revert to factory settings.
Special care must be taken when using the transmitter in humid conditions (> 98%) and near the dew point as if wet, the sensing element can be irreparably damaged.
It is recommended to install DVTts-304-LoRa sensors with the protective cover of the sensitive element down, which minimizes sensor damage at high humidity and near the dew point. The sensor is mounted in such a way that air circulates freely around it. When choosing a place on the wall, it is necessary to avoid drafts, direct sunlight and other heat sources on it. Installation is made directly on the wall.
