The DTX current sensor is a current-to-voltage converter. The sensor is designed to measure AC, DC or pulsed current, not more than 625 A.
DTH sensors are used in power supply monitoring systems to quickly respond or prevent accidents. The device uses an integral sensor based on hall effect, which measures the strength of the magnetic field near the surface of a current-carrying conductor. Thus, the signal and power circuits are galvanically isolated.
DTH is an integral current transformer operating on the basis of the Hall effect, which is designed to measure the strength of direct, alternating or pulsating current in power circuits. The sensor measures the current in the conductor and converts the level of the magnetic field around the current-carrying conductor into an industrial interface signal value (0-10V/0-20mA/4-20mA). The absence of a measuring shunt and power connectors increase the efficiency and reliability of the system.
The DTH sensor is powered by a constant voltage of 24V, the output signal is relative to the "minus" of the power supply.
DTH current sensors of the compensation type or sensors with zero flow have a built-in compensation circuit, which can significantly improve the performance of the sensors. An output current proportional to the Hall voltage acts as a feedback signal. Due to its action, the resulting magnetic flux in the magnetic circuit is practically absent. Compensated current sensors are capable of measuring currents from a few amperes to several hundred thousand amperes. They are distinguished by high accuracy, good linearity, low temperature drift, fast response time and wide frequency range.
Characteristics of DTH current sensors:
- Non-contact current measurement (no shunt elements);
- Galvanic isolation up to 3000V;
- two information interfaces: analog and RS-485 (model DTX-04);
- communication protocol for RS-485 interface: Modbus RTU;
- additional measurement input 0-10V (model DTX-04);
- measurement error 1%;
- installation on a DIN rail (device width 35mm).
The DTX current sensor is a non-contact sensor, the main advantage of which is the absence of a measuring shunt, as well as the absence of power connectors, which increases the efficiency and reliability of the system.
The nomenclature contains modifications with standard analog outputs 0..10V or 4..20mA.
The overall dimensions of the sensor in height depend on the current for which the sensor is designed.
All sensors are capable of working with devices “RegMic“, having an analog input.
