Description of device operation

The power supply is connected to the ~ 220V power supply through the input contacts. Glowing green LED indicates the presence of supply voltage at the output of the device, glowing red LED indicates the charge of the battery. (Battery recharging is displayed only up to 80% capacity, further charging occurs without indication). The load is connected to the output contacts.

In the event of a power failure of 220 V, the device automatically switches the load to the storage battery (AB). When power appears, the battery is charged.

The battery charging current is regulated by a potentiometer in the range from 0.1A to 1A. This is necessary to adjust the device for a specific battery. The charging current is selected from the condition 0.1 * (battery capacity). Thus, for a battery with a capacity of 5Ah, the maximum charge current is 0.5A. Battery manufacturers pay attention to the fact that the battery life can be increased if the charging current is reduced to 0.05 * (battery capacity), but this increases the charging time. The device is protected against short-circuit loads. Charged battery voltage = 13.8V.
